The vineyard

All the cuvées of Champagne François Fagot come mainly from the vineyards of the communes of the Montagne de Reims, bringing varied aromas, allowing the diversity of the cuvées. As winegrowers attached to the land, we practice sustainable cultivation, alternating tillage, grassing and mowing.

The " sustainable " cultivation of vines in Rilly-la-Montagne and surrounding villages...

Located in the communes of Rilly la Montagne, Chigny-les-Roses, Villers-Allerand, Taissy and Montbré din the Montagne de Reims range as well as in Trigny and Crugny in the Saint-Thierry range, we take particular care of our vines by working throughout the year in our vineyards. (Pruning, binding, disbudding, lifting, trellising, trimming...)

This variety of plots spread out on both sides of Reims where we cultivate Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay but also Pinot Blanc allows us to choose what will make the specificity and the quality of the Champagne !

From pruning to harvesting, the work of the vine is permanent from January to October. Binding, lifting, trellising, disbudding or trimming, the vine needs attention throughout the year so that in September, the manual harvest of grapes allows the elaboration of the various cuvées...
