Although François Fagot Champagne was born and marketed in 1956, the cultivation of the vine has been a family affair for several generations. Indeed, François Fagot, the 7th generation, presides over the destiny of the family business accompanied by his daughter and grandson.
It is in Rilly-la-Montagne, in the heart of the Champagne vineyards, that the Fagot family has settled to cultivate the vines with respect for nature, with passion and rigor, with the sole aim of offering quality Champagne wines.
Rilly-la-Montagne is one of the oldest wine-producing villages of the Montagne de Reims classified as Premier Cru. The village was settled by the monks of Saint-Nicaise and Saint-Rémi who, it is said, appreciated the grapes from the area, which were reputed to be full-bodied and fruity...
